These terms are an agreement between you and APIStatus.watch ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you use APIStatus.watch for a company, you agree on its behalf.
APIStatus.watch tracks the public status of third-party services, such as payment, cloud and AI providers, and alerts you when their status changes. The status information comes from each provider's public status page and feeds.
We don't run those services, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Their names and logos belong to their owners.
We work to keep status data accurate and alerts fast, but:
Don't rely on APIStatus.watch as your only way to detect an outage, or for anything where a missed alert could cause injury or serious loss. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, there is no uptime or delivery guarantee.
Don't:
You may put our status badges and widgets on your own sites, as long as their link back to APIStatus.watch stays in place.
What you put into your account stays yours. You let us use it only to run and improve the service, as the Privacy Policy describes.
The site, its software, our reports and the status history we compile belong to us. You may share links and short quotes; copying large parts of the data or reports needs our permission.
The in-app assistant uses an AI model to answer questions, and its answers can be wrong. Check anything important against the provider's own status page.
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or doesn't pay. Where we can, we warn you first. If we close a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the current period.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation.
As far as the law allows:
If someone makes a claim against us because of how you used the service, or because you broke these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
We may update these terms. For material changes, we email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
Texas law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas. Before filing anything, please email us; most problems are solved faster that way.
