Every number comes from incidents the providers published on their own official status pages between Jul 1, 2026 and Sep 30, 2026 (UTC), counted by start time. It measures what providers reported, which is not the same as how reliable they are: some publish every regional blip, others only large outages. A provider that reports openly can rank higher here than one that stays quiet.
Rankings use incidents the provider itself rated major or critical, because minor incidents are reported with very different granularity. Hours are the time covered by major incidents, with overlaps counted once. Incidents left open for more than 7 days are counted but excluded from durations, since they are usually notices rather than outages.
A service is included only if its published history covers the whole quarter. Not enough published history for: OpenAI, Hugging Face, Replicate, Railway, Fly.io, GitLab, Cloudflare, Fastly, SendGrid, Postmark, Zoom, Auth0, Okta, ServiceNow, Oracle Cloud, Docker Hub, Notion, Asana, Freshdesk, Split.io, Deno Deploy, Perplexity, Tailscale, dbt Cloud, Telnyx, Resend and GitHub Copilot. Shares a status page with another service and is counted there: Claude (with Anthropic). No machine-readable incident history: Algolia, AWS, Azure, Azure AI, DeepSeek, Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Gemini, Google Maps Platform, Heroku, PagerDuty, PayPal, Redis Cloud, Salesforce, Slack, Stripe and xAI Grok.
